To Aspiring Writers
To all the aspiring writers out there, I wanted to mention a tool that of late has become invaluable to me. It used to be that I would come up with an idea and write it down on a scrap of paper. After that I would either lose the paper or it'd get sick of the shifting pile of junk gathering on my desk. Finally, my husband mentioned Microsoft OneNote to me. I create tabs and keep all kinds of notes about each of my novels. I keep names, outlines, and research info there. So if I forget names or plot ideas, it's all there together. I love the convenience of it. And when I'm all done, it's fun to go back and look at the ideas and see what did and didn't make it into the story.
